Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Welcome to Hamel El-Quran. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://hamelelquran.com (the “Website”) and our online Quran, Arabic language and Islamic studies classes (the “Services”). By using the Website, booking a trial class or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Hamel El-Quran, and “you” means the student, or the parent or guardian enrolling a student.

1. Our Services

We provide live, one-on-one online classes with qualified male and female tutors in subjects including Noorani Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed, Tajweed rules, Quran memorization (Hifz), Quran translation, Tafsir, Arabic language and Islamic studies for kids. Classes are delivered through video platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Course content, lesson plans and pace are tailored to each student’s level and goals.

2. Eligibility and Parent or Guardian Responsibility

  • Our Services are open to children and adults.
  • Students under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the student’s behalf and is responsible for the student’s participation and payments.
  • We encourage parents to be present or nearby during children’s classes.

3. Free Trial Class

  • New students may book a free trial class [state the number of trial sessions you offer: 1 or 2] with no obligation to continue.
  • The trial is used to assess the student’s level, introduce the tutor and explain the learning plan.
  • The free trial is offered once per student. We may decline further trials if we believe the offer is being misused.

4. Enrollment and Class Scheduling

  • After the trial, you choose a plan and a weekly schedule that suits your time zone.
  • Class times are agreed with the tutor. Please join on time, as the class ends at its scheduled time even if the student arrives late.
  • We make reasonable efforts to match you with a suitable tutor. You may request a tutor change, and we will accommodate it where possible.
  • Tutors are assigned by gender preference where requested. We cannot guarantee a specific tutor’s availability at all times.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are listed on the Website and are charged [monthly in advance] in [USD]. Prices may change, but changes will not affect a period you have already paid for.
  • We accept [credit card, bank transfer and PayPal]. You are responsible for any bank, transfer or currency conversion fees.
  • Fees are due before the start of each billing period. We may pause classes if payment is overdue.
  • There is no long-term contract. You may stop at any time by following Section 7.
  • [Add here: sibling or family discounts, registration fee if any, or state that there is no registration fee.]

6. Attendance, Cancellations and Make-Up Classes

  • Student cancellation or rescheduling: please give at least [12 / 24] hours’ notice by WhatsApp or email. Classes cancelled with proper notice may be rescheduled as a make-up class within [30 days].
  • Late cancellation or no-show: classes cancelled with less than [12 / 24] hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are considered taken and are not made up or refunded.
  • Late arrival: if the student is more than [15] minutes late without notice, the class may be treated as missed.
  • Tutor cancellation: if we or the tutor cancel a class, we will offer a make-up class or a substitute tutor at no extra cost.
  • Backup tutor: if your regular tutor is unavailable, a substitute tutor may teach the class so the student does not miss a lesson.

7. Cancellation of Enrollment and Refunds

  • You may end your enrollment at any time by notifying us in writing (email or WhatsApp) at least [7] days before your next billing date.
  • Fees for classes already delivered are non-refundable.
  • [Add your refund policy, for example: If you are not satisfied with your first paid month, contact us within 7 days for a refund of the unused classes. Unused prepaid classes are refunded / credited within X days.]
  • Refunds, where due, are issued to the original payment method.

8. Student Conduct

We ask that all students and parents:

  • Treat tutors and staff with respect and courtesy.
  • Join from a quiet, suitable place with a stable internet connection and a working device and microphone.
  • Dress and behave appropriately during live classes.
  • Not record, photograph or share classes, tutors or lesson materials without our written permission.

We may suspend or end the Services without refund for serious or repeated misconduct, abusive behavior or breach of these Terms.

9. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for having a device, internet connection and the required software (such as Zoom or Skype). Classes interrupted by technical problems on the student’s side are not guaranteed to be made up. If the interruption is on our side, we will reschedule the class.

10. Progress, Assessments and Certificates

We provide regular assessments and progress reports. Students who complete a course and pass the final evaluation receive a certificate of completion. Progress depends on the student’s attendance, practice and effort, so we cannot guarantee specific results or timelines, such as completing Qaida or memorizing a particular portion by a set date.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and in our lessons, including text, logos, graphics, images, lesson plans, worksheets and other materials, belongs to Hamel El-Quran or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may use it for your or your child’s personal learning only. You may not copy, sell, distribute or publish it without our written permission. The Quran itself is the word of Allah and is not owned by anyone; this section covers only our own materials.

12. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you agree to that policy.

13. Testimonials and Website Content

Testimonials on the Website reflect the experiences of individual students and parents. Results vary from student to student. We try to keep the Website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always available.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hamel El-Quran and its tutors and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the Website or Services, including interruptions caused by internet, device or third-party platform failures. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid for the month in which the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Changes to the Services and These Terms

We may update our courses, schedules, prices or these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated by email, WhatsApp or notice on the Website, and continued use of the Services after changes means you accept them.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Website or Services if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or misuse the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time as described in Section 7.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Arab Republic of Egypt / your chosen jurisdiction]. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern informally. If that is not possible, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of [your jurisdiction], subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
